Description: The 'Beetle Ball' was created to act as both an individual artwork and a feature to draw Cathedral visitors into photographer Andrew Mackay's exhibition 'Man thou art a wonderful animal'. The 1.3m diameter ball has approximately 150 different beetle images mounted on laser cut aluminium profiles anchored into a styrofoam sphere which is raised off the floor on a powder coated steel mount.
