Description: Commissioned to mark the Queen's Jubilee, Evergreen is a wall mounted artwork which represents an element of a large tree which previously cast it's shadow on this particular south facing sandstone wall at Princesshay in Exeter. The artwork consists of 450 mirror polished stainless steel 'leaves' bonded and riveted to mounting plates and anchored into the curved wall. SmallProjects took on the development and fabrication of the piece, and performed the installation in December 2012 from a 7-storey scaffold.
